June 21 - July 2, 2004
Florida International University hosted its QuarkNet Institute this summer from June 21 through July 2.

Fourteen teachers were on campus learning about cutting edge high energy physics research through discovery activities, lab tours, and informal discussions with physics and networking faculty. They'll take away a wide array of inquiry-based activities for their classrooms. They'll also form the nucleus of a local learning community that will be tied in with over 50 other centers operating in the US. The institute is sponsored by QuarkNet (quarknet.fnal.gov) and CHEPREO (chepreo.org).

Visit FIU's QuarkNet Institute site quarknet.fiu.edu or the FIU Physics Homepage www.fiu.edu/physics for furhter information.
